Habakkuk is a prophet that complains to God. Habakkuk’s complaint is that God’s people have turned from God and Habakkuk ask why doesn’t God do anything about this situation. What Habakkuk does not realize is that God is doing something about this problem. God is about to punish Judah for their rebellion, idolatry and disobedience.
This sermon series will look at Habakkuk’s complaint and God’s response. We will wrestle with a number ideas, but ultimately we will see how our sovereign God deals with sin. Often times God does things in ways that we either do not understand or do not agree with. Habakkuk helps us to understand that God is control of all things even when we do not understand.
